The Combo Life is fitted with a 50 kWh battery which offers a range of about 170 miles before you will need to charge, however it is fitted with 100 kW DC rapid charge meaning that you can charge to 80% in just under 30 minutes meaning it won’t be long before you’re on your way again.
Vauxhall has fitted the Combo Life Electric Estate with 3 different driving modes, ECO, Normal and Power. They recommended that you use ‘normal’ for everyday driving, as it gets the best use out of the battery. Using ECO reduces you to 80bhp from about 134bhp, and it also restricts the climate control within the MPV in an effort to conserve the battery. Likewise, using the Power mode doesn’t give you added power, it is for when you have a heavy load and an extra boost to keep your power and driving level.
On the standard models, you get 16-inch alloy wheels and sliding doors, meaning getting lots of people in and out in busy car parks may be a thing of the past. The Combo Life also comes fitted with Vauxhall's multimedia system, an 8-inch touch screen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The latest safety features also include rear parking sensors, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, cruise control and speed sign recognition.
